This restaurant is a hidden gem in Jefferson, Georgia. Staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a variety of hot and fresh food on the buffet There are three types of warm cobblers, and a nice variety of packaged ice cream. Prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food.

Just wow! This was mighty good. What an incredible establishment. If you are looking for soul food this is the place! The staff were very nice as well as understanding. This was our first time here and they gave us the full run down of the buffet which put my mind at ease. The ambiance itself was exactly the vibe of what you would expect a southern restaurant to be. I would definitely visit again!

Everything about this place is amazing. It feels exactly like a family gathering and the food is perfect. The service makes you feel at home and everyone is super sweet and kind. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys southern style food!

The inside and outside was very historic and very nice. Air conditioning, bathrooms (everything you would expect for a business). Most of the food was good but some were not as exciting. The mashed potatoes were not very flavorful, and the cornbread was very salty. The selection was not very large but the dessert section made up for it easily. Red velvet cookies, and The cobbler (blueberry and cherry) were extremely delicious and probably the only reason id return. Less oil on these deserts please! Other than that i do recommend coming here at least once in Jefferson

I wanted a full southern style meal and I got it! What a neat venue full of charm and history. The layout of this restaurant is great! So much seating and space for people. The options in the buffet is fabulous! You got fried chicken, collard greens, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, and it continues... I will have to say the Mac and cheese and the peach cobbler stole my heart! That peach cobbler made me fall in love with the South, it was devine! And to be the cherry on top, the staff is sooooooo kind and hospitable! True meaning of southern hospitality!

This places has the best breakfast buffet ($10 per person)! We were with another couple and we thought everything was delicious! I loved all the different breakfast choices: bacon, biscuit, 2 types of sausages, grits, gravy, french toast, hashbrown, cobblers...Please note that they only have breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday till 10:30 am. We came about 10 am so we had to rush because they had to get ready for lunch. We'll be sure to get there earlier next time!

I heard really good things about this place, and brought friends and family here during the week of thanksgiving. They only do breakfast on weekends, so coming on a weekday I had lunch. I'm not sure if the menu items are different, but when I went it was thanksgiving food. Their food tastes homemade and it's a classic southern meal. It tastes as if it was made from home, so with their reasonable prices it was definitely worth it. Service was good, so no complaints there. The restaurant itself is a house, so there is a porch, tables inside rooms, fireplaces, and an upstairs for events. They had christmas decor when I went, so it's perfect for family or group pictures whether it's in front of the tree or outside by the stairs.

This is my go to place each time I visit my daughter. It's like eating a home cooked meal. Everything is so good. The salad bar is fresh, the sides are so tasty, lots of meat options and tons of desserts. I've eaten in and most recently we did carry out. I had plenty of food for two meals. Service is always top notch. Be sure to check their hours, they are not open every day. The place itself is homey and it's located in an old historic home. So it feels like you are visiting family for Sunday dinner.
